Solv ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your health and fitness data.

Data Collection

HealthKit Data

Solv requests read-only access to the following HealthKit data:

• Workout sessions (strength training, cardio)
• Body measurements (weight, body fat percentage)
• Heart rate data during workouts
• Date of Birth - for max Heart Rate calculations
• Nutrition data (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats, fiber)

Important: We only READ data from HealthKit. We never write or modify your HealthKit data.

Workout Exercise Data

When you import workout data from third-party fitness apps (such as Iron), we store the following locally on your phone:

• Exercise names and categories
• Sets, reps, and weights
• Workout timestamps
• Estimated calorie expenditure

User Preferences

We store your app preferences locally on your phone:

• Exercise category customizations
• Display settings
• Last sync timestamp

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device only.

• We use Apple's SwiftData framework for local storage
• Your data never leaves your device
• No cloud storage or backups are created by our app
• No servers or databases are maintained by us

Data Usage

We use your data exclusively to:

• Display training analytics and insights
• Track progressive overload and muscle group training
• Generate recommendations using statistics
• Visualize trends and outcomes

Your data is never:

• Sent to external servers
• Shared with third parties
• Used for advertising or marketing
• Sold or monetized in any way

Third-Party Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. Period.

• No analytics services
• No crash reporting services
• No advertising networks
• No data brokers

User Rights

Data Access

All your data is accessible within the app at any time.

Data Deletion

Delete All App Data:

This removes all app data permanently from your device.

HealthKit Permission

Solv requires HealthKit access to function. We request:

Read Permissions:

• Workouts (HKWorkoutType)
• Date of Birth - for max Heart Rate calculation
• Body Mass (HKQuantityType)
• Body Fat Percentage (HKQuantityType)
• Heart Rate (HKQuantityType)
• Dietary Energy (Calories)
• Protein, Carbohydrates, Total Fat, Dietary Fiber

Write Permissions: None - We only read data

You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Solv.

Children's Privacy

Solv is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Security

Your data security is ensured through:

• Local-only storage (no network transmission)
• iOS system-level encryption
• Secure SwiftData framework
• No authentication or user accounts (no password breaches possible)
